The lack of new gameplay features may delay Minecraft Mods  existing "Minecraft PS3 Edition" and "Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition" owners from upgrading.  for individuals who don't mind buying the game again on the new consoles. Players will probably pay $4.99 to upgrade in the PS3 version towards the PS4 and in the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The promotion will last a year following the launches of "Minecraft PS4 Edition" and "Minecraft Xbox One Edition." Progress made in the PS3 and Xbox 360 games can be transferred towards the next-generation ports at the same time.
